What is Gua-Sha?
Gua-Sha involves repeated pressed strokes over lubricated skin with a smooth edged blunt instrument, lightly scraping the skin to produce a slight petechial and improve circulation.
The name Gua-Sha comes from the Chinese word that means scraping.
Gua-Sha therapy aims to move blocked energy and stagnated blood to relieve aches or stiffness in a very short period. Gua-Sha is generally performed on a person’s back, buttocks, neck, arms, and legs.
